I am Tamás Veres, the founder of Tamás-Faház Kft., the father of three daughters and a son. Before the construction of the wooden house, I worked as a programmer/developer for more than 20 years with search engine optimization, internet marketing and the development of a self-developed server-side CGI interpreter, and I also operated my own server park. Then came, I think, a big change in all of our lives with the COVID virus. Although it did not significantly affect my work, it changed our environment a lot, which made me think. I felt that I had to get up from the armchair and step out of my own comfort zone a little and adapt to the changes. That's when the idea came, my first profession. In 1994, I graduated from the Bornemissza Gergely Vocational Training Institute in Eger as a cabinetmaker. My excellent teacher, Mr. Antal Borkó, the vocational instructor of the then-existing Agria Furniture Factory, started me on the carpentry course. Since life then directed me in a different direction, in the past period, I made furniture to my liking and, among other things, my own small wooden house exclusively as a hobby. I fell in love with the profession again and decided to build wooden houses. First, as an individual entrepreneur for a while, but as it turned out, it quickly outgrew me. I knew that, like any successful business, it requires a complete person. I gave up my old self as a programmer, leaving behind my achievements and founded Tamás-Faház Kft. in 2021. I used all my previous marketing knowledge to start and develop the company. Today, our company belongs to the Pannongate Építőipari és Kereskedelmi Zrt. company group, as a related company. We no longer only build quality wooden houses, but we also deal with foam insulation of industrial halls and family houses. Our company is the exclusive distributor of several product groups in Hungary and Slovakia. We build wooden houses and insulate buildings not only in Hungary, but throughout the EU.
